Saint-Paul

France, officially the French Republic, is a country whose metropolitan territory is located in Western Europe and comprises various overseas islands and territories which are located in other regions. Metropolitan France extends from the Mediterranean Sea to the English Channel and the North Sea and from the Rhine to the Atlantic Ocean. At 674,843 square kilometers, France is the world's 40th-largest country after Myanmar. France is a member of The European Union and Paris is the capital of this nation. The sole official language of France is French. Since prehistoric times, France has been a crossroads of trade, migrations, and invasions.

Saint-Paul is the second-largest commune in the French overseas department of Reunion. It is located on the extreme west side of the island of Reunion. In the 1999 census, Saint-Paul had a population of 87,712 inhabitants. Reunion is an island and overseas department of France, located in the Indian Ocean east of Madagascar, about 200 kilometer southwest of Mauritius, the nearest island. Like the other DOMs, Departements d'Outre-Mer meaning overseas departments, Reunion is also one of the 26 regions of France with the same status as those situated on the European mainland. As part of France, Reunion is part of the European Union and thus the currency used is the euro.

Saint-Paul is a city known for its historic myths and traditions, scenic beauty, cooperative people and luxurious hotels and cottages. Saint-Paul is one of the favorite holiday destinations for most of the vacation lovers.
