Vierzon




France, officially the French Republic, is a country whose metropolitan territory is located in Western Europe and comprises various overseas islands and territories which are located in other regions. Vierzon is a big French industrial town with a population of around 30,000 with Land area of 24.5 square kilometers in the Cher departement. The town lies on four important highways and two major train lines and is close to the Foret de Vierzon. Cher is a departement in the center of France. It is named after the Cher River.
 
The Cher is a river in central France, tributary to the river Loire. Its source is in the Creuse departement, north-east of Crocq. It joins the river Loire in Villandry, west of Tours. The river suffered a devastating flood in 1940, which damaged Chateau de Chenonceau and other structures along the banks. A city known for its historic myths and traditions, scenic beauty, cooperative people and luxurious hotels and cottages, Vierzon is one of the favorite holiday destinations for most of the vacation lovers.
