Vierzon
France, officially the French Republic, is a country whose metropolitan territory is located in Western Europe and comprises various overseas islands and territories which are located in other regions. Metropolitan France extends from the Mediterranean Sea to the English Channel and the North Sea and from the Rhine to the Atlantic Ocean. At 674,843 square kilometres, France is the world's 40th-largest country after Myanmar. France is a member of The European Union and Paris is the capital of this nation. Vierzon is a big French industrial town with a population of around 30,000 with Land area of 24.5 square kilometers in the Cher departement. The town lies on four important highways and two major train lines and is close to the Foret de Vierzon. Cher is a departement in the center of France. It is named after the Cher River.
The Cher is a river in central France, tributary to the river Loire. Its source is in the Creuse departement, north-east of Crocq. It joins the river Loire in Villandry, west of Tours. The river suffered a devastating flood in 1940, which damaged Chateau de Chenonceau and other structures along the banks. A city known for its historic myths and traditions, scenic beauty, cooperative people and luxurious hotels and cottages, Vierzon is one of the favorite holiday destinations for most of the vacation lovers.
