Fontenay-aux-Roses

It includes Commissariat atomique, where the Pile Zoe was activated. Fontenay-aux-Roses has an area of 42.51 squared kilometers with a population of 23,537 inhabitants as per the 1999 census with a density of 9,377 squared kilometers. At the transportation, it is served by Fontenay-aux-Roses station on Paris railway line. Hauts-de-Seine, Seine Heights is a department in France and is a part of the Ile-de-France region. It is adjacent to the City of Paris and forms part of the western suburbs of Paris. Hauts-de-Seine and two other small departments, Seine-Saint-Denis and Val-de-Marne, form a ring around Paris, called as the petite couronne. In the past, the department of Hauts-de-Seine was created in 1968, from parts of the former departments of Seine and Seine-et-Oise. In the 1990s and early 2000s, the Hauts-de-Seine received national attention because of a corruption scandal related to the misuse of public funds of the department's housing projects. It can also be considered as the preeminent, historical and potential tourism destination that enjoys a very positive reputation with worldwide travelers to become one of the most visited places. Fontenay-aux-Roses is also known as the town of best geographical environment and has traced its origins back to the prehistoric times.
