Conflans-Sainte-Honorine is a commune in the northwestern suburbs of Paris, France. It is located at about 24.2 kilometers far away from the center of Paris. The commune takes its name from the rambling chateau of Conflans, where the archbishop of Paris commissioned Andre Le Notre to lay out extensive gardens descending in deep terraces towards the Seine. Yvelines is a French department in the region of Ile-de-France. Yvelines was created from the western part of the no longer existing department of Seine-et-Oise on January 1, 1968 in accordance with a law passed on January 10, 1964 and a decret d'application from February 26, 1965.
 
Conflans-Sainte-Honorine is served by Conflans-Sainte-Honorine station on the Transilien Paris of the Saint-Lazare suburban rail line. It is also served by Conflans-Fin d'Oise station which is an interchange station on Paris rail line A and on the Transilien Paris of the Saint-Lazare suburban rail line.
