Bois-Colombes is a commune in the northwestern suburbs of Paris, France. It is located 9 kilometers from the center of Paris. It is one of the most densely populated municipalities in Europe. The commune of Bois-Colombes was created on March 13, 1896 by detaching its territory from the commune of Colombes. Bois-Colombes land area is 1.92 square kilometers, density is 12,440 square kilometers. Population of the city at the 1999 census was 23,885.
