Alfortville

Alfortville is a commune in the southeastern suburbs of Paris, France. It is located 7.6 kilometers from the center of Paris. The commune of Alfortville was created on April 1, 1885 by detaching its territory from the commune of Maisons-Alfort. Alfortville is twinned with San Benedetto del Toronto, Italy since 1989 Cantanhede, Portugal since 2000 Ochagan, Armenia since 2001. There is also a twinning convention with the Armnian region of Achtarak since 1993. A city known for its historic myths and traditions, scenic beauty, cooperative people and luxurious hotels and cottages, Alfortville is one of the favorite holiday destinations for most of the vacation lovers.
